Sourdough English Muffins
These English muffins have the same great taste as regular English muffins but with the added benefits of the fermentation process using sourdough starter instead of commercial yeast.
Enjoy them slathered with fresh jam and or salted butter for a quick breakfast or an afternoon snack. They are very filling when turned into little breakfast sandwiches with eggs, ham, and cheese.
These muffins freeze very well as is or even better, made into breakfast sandwiches and then frozen for a fast fresh breakfast. Freeze for up to 3 moths. They will stay at their prime at room temperature for about 3 days before they begin to lose superior taste and quality . Store them in an air tight container at room temperature for up to 5 days
Ingredients: Organic hard red wheat flour, organic malted barely flour, Sourdough starter, filtered water, honey, salted butter, sea salt , organic whole grain cornmeal for dusting
